Q^Q (warning for fangirl rant-->) this is wonderfull! this needs to be cannon! sadly there is not enough of it in this world. couse my if you look closly you see that karkat respects him really much. ofcourse he dislike his nonstop talking is quite boring and his bratty atitude but he dont yell at him, he still lisens and all couse he dont want to offend him wich is more that he have ever done towards any other. and kankri probably feels responseble for karkat and think highly of him and all. my head canon is that if kk finds out about gz and tz he somhow develops a <> for him or <3. *cough cough...um.. yeah..*disepears into a corner**
